Sometimes you have to break promises to yourself.
Sunday, May 7th, 2006Remember that spinning wheel I wanted? Remember how I promised myself I’d buy it only *after* I paid off my debt? Well, some promises just HAVE to be broken. There’s a sale over at The Yarn Tree, 20% off on everything in the store until June 4th. . .including her spinning wheels. 20% off of the exact spinning wheel I wanted. . .there was no way I could let this deal pass. Rob drove me down there today after dinner with his parents and I bought one. But I didn’t know she didn’t have them in stock, still drop shipping to my house is only $5, and it should be here by the end of the week to early next week. Rock. I also bought some roving to play with.
Yesterday I did a lot, mowed the lawn, cleaned part of the house, started working on my bike, and bbqed. Got a little drunk, all in all, not a bad weekend. I’m bummed it’s over though.
Not much else to say atm.
