Saturday, April 29th, 2006I’ve finished Karen’s Basic Socks. :] They are comfy!! I won’t have any pics until tomorrow, since it’s 1:30 am and I want to shower and go to bed, but tomorrow I’ll be showing them off and hauling around my camera, so I’ll take pics!!
I also cast on a few stitches for the jaywalkers. I was all worried because I knew I’d finish these socks tonight, and since my pattern is on it’s way (but won’t get here until Monday now,) I won’t be able to start birch yet. I was considering starting the hat but I knew that it might not be as portable as socks. I totally forgot that I was going to make these. So they’ll be accompanying me on the train tomorrow to Manhattan. I’m going to my brother-in-law’s recital, and it should be a good time. But it’s likely I’ll get there early, and it’ll be good to have something to work on. :]
On that note, I’m going to shower and go to bed. More tomorrow, I promise.
Teaser: The roomate started moving today and isn’t home yet. It’s quite possible he’s not coming home tonight. We threw out all of his rotting food from the fridge and cabinets. :] I feel a lot better already.
