Jeans and Sneakers

Time for a little fun!! Last night I went with my sister and brother in law, and with my boyfriend to a Halloween party. Dressing up was mandatory.

So from left to right, that’s Andy (a coworker of my sister’s), me, Rob (my bf), my sister (Marj), and her husband (Chi). (also, what you can’t see in this picture, is that I’m totally wearing jeans and sneakers under my costume!!!)

Or if you want to go by costume, it’s a doctor, Edea from Final Fantasy VIII, The Beer Looter from New Orleans (www.thebeerlooter.com), Sadako from the Ring (japanese version), and Ryuji also from the Ring (japanese version).

We had a lot of fun, there was food, drink, and karaoke. Who could ask for more?

I have to get all done up in my costume again tomorrow, for work. I don’t know how I’m going to make it all day with that headpiece on. I made it out of rigid wrap, right on my head, I made the main shape, but then took it off to put on the extras, and it kind of hurts my ear on the right side of my head, and I kept poking things with the horns on accident. One of the horns actually cracked a little bit, and I’ve got to patch it before tomorrow. *sigh*

Edit: If anyone reading this can tell me why alt tags don’t work in Firefox, and if there’s an alternate tag or code to make that work with Firefox and IE, it would be greatly appreciated. I’m lazy today, and don’t feel like looking it up. As it is, just for the image to display correctly in IE, I had to manually alter the image size in the tag, which is obnoxious, since Firefox did that for me automatically. Oh well. Comments would be appreciated!! ^_^
