The theme isn’t the half of it.

So I’m sick of live journal, I’m sick of my job and not knowing how to do things on my own. Voila! My wordpress blog is born!! And. . .I’ve even got a goal. I’m going to learn. Anything I can get my little hands on and wrap my big stubborn head around, I’m going to learn. To what end? To try and make myself happy by either learning how to support myself with a web-site oriented business that I can keep successful, or by learning enough to land a job where people don’t treat me like I’m an imbecile.

And to start off, I need to learn how to manipulate this blog. So far, if you look up in the top right hand corner. . .you’ll see what I’ve done so far!! ( I know, small victory, but at least I did something!!) Oh. . . you didn’t notice? :] I moved the text in the header area to the bottom right of the header area. Rock. Not really that big of an accomplishment, since I didn’t have to learn anything new to do it, I just looked in the style sheet, and changed some numbers based on their labels and some common sense, but still. At least I made a change at all.

I know I’m being lazy today, but I’m probably not going to try to fiddle with the design here tonight. I had about three hours of sleep last night, and I’m about to crash hard. (Already making excuses? I know. :[ ) But with any luck I’ll be back on track tomorrow!

Wish me luck!

I knew you could do it! We have the genes to do whatever we want, so long as we WANT to do them… hee hee hee

The blog looks great! This was the look i was going for (one main blog with sections so i could keep ALL my shite together. i just don’t have the time for extra coding :D )

It’s very clean and gives a positive feel. You seem happier and this blog is like you hatched from an Eagg (how marc says it). Congrats and keep up the learning. It’s our secret power… shhhhhhhhhh hee hee hee

Actually, if you wanted to set something like this up, it’s really easy. You just download the files from wordpress.org, and um, I don’t know if you know how to set up a MYSQL server on your database, or if you’d have to get someone to do it, Rob did mine, but after that, you change like, 4 things on a text file, and get started.

This template is the generic one, so I can’t take any credit for it, other than that I changed the links on the side (but there was no coding there, there’s a whole manage section, wordpress is really cool.), and I moved the header text.

Give me a little time, and I’ll have it looking totally different. Haha!
